I am fortunate enough to do gardening for a living, which though often physically demanding, I find to be meditative and soothing. Often helps pull me out of that tricky fog.

The fog is very difficult to beat. Talking to a friend can help, but most of my friends are in their own fog as we are teachers. Challenging physical activity (walking my dog without getting hurt for me 😊) Reading a good fictional book where I can get lost for a while can help, but it has to be a really, really good book. Making a plan of attack for the list of tasks on my mind can clear some of the fog. It’s a constant battle.

I relate to this so much, such an accurate description for being overwhelmed with a fog. It's easy to want to give up in those moments when I can't get my mind to calm or think clearly, even if I don't want to.

I'm really bad at remembering to reset, or recharge as I call it, regularly so to reset, I end up taking a day to wear the comfiest outfit I have, curling up on the couch, and watching a favorite TV show series or have a movie day to chill to. Usually ready to go by the next day 😊

I haven’t found anything to reset my brain. I go for a walk and even then my brain is still trying to solve my problems. I call a friend just to catch up and even steal. My brain is thinking about my problems. I listen to music still my brain is working on my problems. I cannot ever turn off my brain. It takes me forever to fall asleep, because my problems are still there I don’t know how to turn off my brain
